« Lalyans » est le mot créole guadeloupéen pour l’alliance. Ce morceau aurait pu être qualifié d’« instrulude ». Il est une transition dans l’album entre ses deux parties, un peu comme un pont entre La Grande-Terre et la Basse-Terre.

Au delà de l’aspect musical de cette transition, le morceau symbolise, l’union, l’unité, nécessaire à la cohésion et à la progression. La Guadeloupe à elle seule montre la richesse que peuvent apporter la différence et la diversité, il reste à traverser la Rivière Salée…L’alliance reste un mystère bien gardé, l’arche de l’alliance dans la bible serait un objet magique…

Le morceau est volontairement long, car l’Histoire montre que le plus dur n’est par de s’unir mais de rester unis.
